The Backstory

With a single store in Sydney’s west, MJS Electrical Supplies needed to start generating sales through their website if they were going to grow. In 2019, Blank Theory was brought in to boost the company’s online presence and start driving traffic to their site. The family business specialises in wholesale switchgear, lighting, air movement and more, which appeals to both homeowners trying to DIY some simple improvements and licensed electricians looking to stock up.

The Mission

MJS Electrical Supplies’ marketing strategy had to be rewired from scratch. To market to both a B2B and a B2C audience, Blank Theory needed to produce creatives, ads, and marketing materials that would appeal to professionals and tinkerers alike. These creatives would need to be rolled out across every channel, finding their target audience where they already were.
